Are You A Professional?

Trade-Ideas consumes a massive amount of data from a variety of sources in order to deliver on its mission of helping our subscribers make better decisions in the markets. A main source of such data comes from the U.S. exchanges which require Trade-Ideas to annually update our records with accurate subscriber information. The exchanges require Trade-Ideas to verify each user is correctly registered as either a professional or non-professional trader. Persons who are considered professional, use market data for their business as fiduciaries and must pay additional fees to the NYSE/AMEX and NASDAQ.

If you are considered a non-professional trader, please complete the following updated agreements:

If you are still unsure if you are considered a professional, answer the following questions:

Do you have a CRD number?
Do you use market data for business use
Do you receive market data for your business or any other entity?
Do you assist any other person with investment decisions?
Do you assist any other person with investment decisions? (including, but not limited to financial advice in a chatroom, live-streaming market activity, blogging, etc)?

If you answered "yes" to either of these questions above OR if you believe you may be a Professional according to the NYSE NonProfessional Subscriber Policy above, you will need to sign the forms below for approval by the exchanges. Your immediate response is necessary to continue service.

Please determine your classification within the next two weeks to continue to use Trade-Ideas uninterrupted. In order to avoid fines and penalties imposed on Trade-Ideas by the exchanges, failure to respond to this email by 1969-12-31 will result in the suspension of Trade-Ideas data.
